📋 Description

• As a Senior Solution Architect - Infrastructure Presales at Core BTS, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the company engages with clients by designing and recommending tailored infrastructure solutions that directly impact business outcomes. Your expertise will bridge technical depth and client-facing communication, enabling account teams to win complex deals through credible, consultative guidance.
• You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by translating customer business challenges into actionable technical architectures, ensuring solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with strategic goals, scalability, security, and budget constraints—making you a trusted advisor in high-stakes pre-sales engagements.
• On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate closely with account executives and sales teams to understand client needs during discovery calls, translating business requirements into high-level and detailed infrastructure designs covering networking, compute, storage, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• You will lead virtual and onsite workshops and design sessions with customer stakeholders, facilitating discussions to uncover pain points, validate assumptions, and co-create solution roadmaps that build consensus and accelerate decision-making.
• You will produce comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), solution diagrams, bill of materials (BOMs), and detailed project estimates that serve as the foundation for proposals and contracts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with delivery teams.
• You will conduct infrastructure assessments and connectivity analyses, evaluating existing environments to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities, then recommend modernized architectures leveraging on-premises, cloud, or hybrid models.
• You will stay current with emerging technologies from key vendors (including Cisco, Dell, HPE, VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud) and internally share insights to enhance the team’s solutioning capabilities and competitive positioning.
• You will mentor junior architects and presales engineers, contributing to knowledge sharing through internal enablement sessions, documentation, and best practice development to elevate the overall capability of the presales organization.
• You will partner with delivery and practice leads to ensure seamless handoff of sold solutions, providing technical context and design intent to support successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• You will represent Core BTS at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings, helping to establish the company as a thought leader in infrastructure modernization and digital transformation.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of presales processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging your experience to refine how solutions are discovered, designed, and presented to clients.
• You will work within a collaborative, high-performing presales team that values technical excellence, customer empathy, and innovation—operating in a remote-first environment that supports flexibility while maintaining strong team cohesion through regular virtual collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure architecture, presales, or consulting roles, with proven success in designing and selling complex enterprise solutions.
• Deep expertise in hybrid infrastructure domains including networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), server/virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage (SAN/NAS/all-flash), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and articulate value propositions clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience creating Statements of Work (SOWs), solution designs, BOMs, and project estimates for enterprise-scale engagements.
• Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with comfort leading customer-facing discussions in virtual or onsite settings.
