  • • As a Senior Solution Engineer (FinOps Pre-Sales) at Flexera, you will be at the forefront of helping organizations transform their technology spend, saving them billions of dollars in wasted expenditure.
  • • You will act as a customer-facing technical sales professional and a passionate evangelist for Flexera’s cutting-edge FinOps capabilities, translating intricate financial and technical complexities into tangible, measurable business outcomes for our clients.
  • • Your primary focus will be on Spot by Flexera, with a significant emphasis on container-based cost optimization and Kubernetes environments, while also representing the broader FinOps portfolio.
  • • You will guide customers through the entire pre-sales lifecycle, from initial discovery and in-depth solution design to compelling demonstrations and robust proof points.
  • • This role involves close collaboration with Sales teams, strategic Partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful technical realization of customer goals and drive revenue growth.
  • • You will partner closely with the Sales team to deeply understand customer challenges related to cloud infrastructure, financial management, and operational efficiency, strategically aligning Spot by Flexera's capabilities to achieve defined FinOps outcomes.
  • • Lead and orchestrate technical pre-sales engagements, encompassing thorough discovery sessions, sophisticated solution architecture design, impactful product demonstrations, and persuasive value-based positioning.
  • • Design, implement, and deliver Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs), with a specialized focus on optimizing containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments using our advanced Ocean technology.
  • • Serve as the primary technical authority throughout the sales cycle, actively contributing to deal strategy development and providing expert input for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, including those for partner-led opportunities.
  • • Articulate and demonstrate Flexera’s comprehensive FinOps capabilities, covering critical areas such as cloud cost optimization, accurate cost allocation, robust governance frameworks, and effective commitment management.
  • • Provide expert support for advanced container and Kubernetes optimization use cases, addressing critical aspects like rightsizing, dynamic scaling, high availability, and overall cost efficiency.
  • • Clearly articulate the synergistic value of Flexera’s integrated solutions, explaining how FinOps, SaaS Management, and IT Asset Management (ITAM) converge to deliver unparalleled Technology Intelligence outcomes for enterprises.
  • • Actively support and enable our partner ecosystem through targeted technical enablement sessions, joint customer engagements, and rigorous solution validation processes.
  • • Participate in US Public Sector opportunities as required, demonstrating a keen awareness of specific compliance, procurement, and security considerations pertinent to government clients.
  • • Foster strong collaboration with internal Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure consistent technical messaging and strategic alignment across both direct and partner-led sales motions.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales enablement materials, demonstration environments, and best practices for the Solution Engineering team.
  • • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, FinOps, Kubernetes, and cost optimization technologies to maintain a leading-edge technical perspective.
  • • You will be instrumental in showcasing how Flexera's solutions empower IT, finance, procurement, and cloud teams to gain critical insights into cost optimization, compliance, and risk management for every business service.
