📋 Description

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor to Fortune 500 enterprise customers, mapping Workato’s platform capabilities—including AI orchestration, agentic automation, and Enterprise MCP—to business objectives across IT, HR, Finance, RevOps, and other functional areas.
• Own and lead the technical discovery, solution design, and validation phases of the enterprise sales cycle using a consultative approach to guide customers through complex evaluation processes.
• Partner with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to evangelize the Workato platform and drive technical sales stages to closure.
• Articulate and educate prospects on business, technical, and architectural concepts such as agentic AI use cases, MCP-based connectivity, and AI operationalization to diverse audiences including CIOs, Enterprise Architects, IT leaders, line-of-business stakeholders, and developers.
• Deliver tailored in-person and remote product demonstrations that showcase end-to-end enterprise automation scenarios across multiple applications, data sources, and business processes, with emphasis on AI-powered and agentic workflows.
• Conduct business and technical discovery with enterprise prospects to architect customized solutions using the Workato platform, including integration patterns, automation workflows, and AI-powered orchestration.
• Manage and execute technical workshops and in-depth proof of concepts (POCs), both on-site and remotely, to validate platform fit and drive customer confidence.
• Support new customers in achieving First Value on the Workato platform and ensure seamless handoff to post-sales teams.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs with accurate, compelling, and compliant documentation.
• Collect, synthesize, and analyze field feedback from enterprise customers to channel actionable insights to Product Management and Engineering for product roadmap enhancements.
• Represent the Workato platform at industry conferences, seminars, user groups, and partner events to increase market visibility and thought leadership.
• Support Marketing and Event functions by contributing to demo-driven webinars, writing technical blogs, and speaking at industry events to promote the Workato solution.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences to drive adoption and enterprise-wide automation outcomes.
• Maintain deep familiarity with enterprise application ecosystems including ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), HCM (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), ITSM (ServiceNow), and collaboration platforms.
• Leverage hands-on experience with cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as iPaaS, SaaS applications, and cloud infrastructure to design scalable integration solutions.
• Apply understanding of web technologies such as JSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL to build and demonstrate robust automation workflows.
• Utilize familiarity with object-oriented programming and scripting to troubleshoot, customize, and explain platform behavior during technical evaluations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of AI and agentic automation concepts including prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, chain-of-thought reasoning, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and AI agents to position Workato’s advanced capabilities.
• Manage multiple concurrent enterprise evaluations with strong prioritization and time management skills to meet aggressive sales cycle timelines.
• Exhibit strong leadership in architectural discussions and executive briefings, influencing technical and business decision-makers at all levels.
• Maintain a passion for customer success and business transformation, consistently exceeding targets through consultative selling and technical excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of pre-sales or solutions architecture experience in a SaaS organization
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS, enterprise integration, or automation technologies
• Demonstrable experience working with Enterprise and Fortune 1000 customers across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, and databases
• Familiarity with AI and agentic automation concepts including prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, chain-of-thought reasoning, MCP, and AI agents
• Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems including ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), HCM (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), ITSM (ServiceNow), and collaboration platforms
