Senior Solutions Architect - EDI

📋 Description

• • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and define solution requirements for EDI integrations.
• • Conduct discovery sessions to analyze customers' existing EDI infrastructure, data flows, and integration challenges.
• • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and standards-compliant EDI solutions using Workato’s platform.
• • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases, showcasing EDI automation capabilities.
• • Explain complex EDI workflows, mappings, and transaction lifecycle processes in clear, customer-friendly terms.
• • Assist in building proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot environments to validate solution feasibility.
• • Lead the technical response to RFPs and RFIs, including architecture design, integration approach, security, scalability, and compliance details.
• • Design EDI workflows and system architecture diagrams integrating ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics), TMS, WMS, and partner systems.
• • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers, internal product/engineering teams, and implementation teams during the presales cycle.
• • Support account executives in building trusted advisor relationships with enterprise clients.
• • Stay current with global EDI standards including X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and integration technologies such as AS2, VDA, OFTP2, SFTP, FTPS, APIs, and VANs.
• • Leverage hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools such as IBM Sterling, Seeburger, Cleo Integration Cloud, GXS, and Boomi to design and validate solutions.
• • Demonstrate familiarity with iPaas technologies, including Workato, Boomi, and Mulesoft, to architect end-to-end automation workflows.
• • Enable customers and internal teams by providing clear documentation, training, and guidance on EDI best practices and platform capabilities.
• • Adapt quickly to dynamic startup environments, proactively identifying opportunities to improve solutions and customer outcomes.
• • Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure, managing multiple client engagements and technical requirements simultaneously.
• • Independently research emerging EDI trends, protocols, and integration patterns to maintain technical expertise and provide forward-looking advice.
• • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence, bridging business and technical gaps.
• • Maintain a customer-oriented mindset, tailoring solutions to diverse company sizes and industry-specific requirements.
• • Take initiative on additional responsibilities, driving innovation and continuous improvement in presales delivery.
