- • Serve as a Senior Solution Engineer within SailPoint’s Japan presales team, collaborating directly with direct and channel sales teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- • Conduct discovery workshops and maturity assessments to identify customer requirements related to Identity, Governance, Access Management, and Cybersecurity.
- • Articulate the business value and technical capabilities of SailPoint’s identity security solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
- • Deliver customized product demonstrations and evaluations to prospective customers, aligning SailPoint’s platform with specific organizational needs.
- • Lead and manage RFx response processes, including RFI/RFP submissions, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- • Execute and oversee Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate solution fit and drive sales momentum.
- • Provide technical leadership throughout the entire sales cycle—from initial discovery through presentation, demo, evaluation, and closure.
- • Mentor and coach new sales and presales team members on SailPoint’s solutions, platforms, and sales methodologies.
- • Contribute to customer success stories, white papers, blogs, and social media content to establish SailPoint’s thought leadership in the Identity Security Market.
- • Actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, enablement programs, and product feedback loops to improve platform capabilities.
- • Support Japan-based partner enablement initiatives and represent SailPoint at industry events through speaking engagements, demo booth participation, and technical presentations.
- • Engage with customers to understand deployment models, identity security best practices, and technical infrastructure needs, translating insights into actionable product feedback for the Product Management team.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of SailPoint’s platform, including its architecture, features, and competitive differentiators, and ensure consistent messaging across all customer interactions.
- • Familiarize yourself with SailPoint’s organizational structure, business functions, and key stakeholders through onboarding coursework, video collateral, and scheduled introductions.
- • Complete all assigned training modules, including Identity University courses, to achieve field readiness and product certification within the first 12 months.
- • Build and maintain a value-driven, outcome-based narrative that connects identity security to business outcomes such as risk reduction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- • Work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Delivery Services teams to ensure seamless handoffs and customer alignment.
- • Perform key administrative tasks and track critical metrics to measure personal and team performance.
- • Travel domestically within Japan to support customer engagements, partner events, and sales activities.
