  • • Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for PTC’s PLM solutions in presales engagements, leading technical validation and articulation of value propositions aligned with customer needs and strategic priorities.
  • • Qualify and validate technical requirements to ensure solution fit, and deliver tailored demonstrations, multi-day evaluations, and proof-of-concepts using PTC’s product suite.
  • • Collaborate closely with sales teams to drive technical closure of qualified opportunities, providing expert guidance throughout the pre-sales cycle.
  • • Manage end-to-end customer relationships during pre-sales, advocating for customer interests and resolving issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor by providing expert technical advice grounded in industry knowledge, enterprise transformation trends, and deep familiarity with PTC’s solutions.
  • • Support the transition from pre-sales to implementation by ensuring clear handoff of technical requirements, customer context, and implementation plans.
  • • Capture and communicate market feedback on evolving customer needs, product gaps, and emerging requirements to influence future product development and roadmap priorities.
  • • Drive adoption and expansion of PTC solutions by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and collaborating with internal teams to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • • Maintain up-to-date expertise in enterprise PLM software, including implementation methodologies, governance frameworks, and integration patterns across engineering, manufacturing, and service processes.
  • • Engage with diverse customer stakeholders including engineering, IT, operations, and executive leadership to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
  • • Contribute to thought leadership by participating in industry events, customer workshops, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate PTC’s market presence.
  • • Ensure technical accuracy and consistency in all customer-facing materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • • Work remotely within Mountain or Pacific time zones, coordinating across U.S.-based sales teams and customers.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience as a technical SME supporting enterprise PLM software
  • • Enterprise software implementation and governance knowledge
  • • Product development, engineering, IT, manufacturing, or service process knowledge
  • • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • • PTC solutions knowledge and experience preferred
  • • Ability to work remotely within Mountain or Pacific time zones
