- • As a Senior Specialist, Global Payroll at KAYAK (part of Booking Holdings), you will own end-to-end payroll processes for a global travel technology company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across international jurisdictions while supporting a fast-growing, innovative business that helps millions of travelers plan their trips.
- • You will process payroll for employees across multiple countries, manage complex compensation elements (including bonuses, stock-based compensation, and mobility changes), maintain SOX-compliant records, and serve as a trusted expert for payroll queries, system integrations, and audit readiness — directly enabling the company’s ability to scale globally with confidence.
- • You will partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and People Systems teams to drive process improvements, support month-end close, manage vendor relationships (Workday, ADP, CloudPay), and ensure seamless data flow between systems while upholding the highest standards of data confidentiality and professional integrity.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global payroll compliance, gain hands-on experience with enterprise HRIS platforms, lead process automation initiatives, and develop cross-functional influence — positioning yourself as a strategic payroll leader within a Fortune 500 travel innovator committed to employee growth and well-being.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of recent, hands-on payroll processing experience, with global payroll experience highly regarded
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- • Professional payroll certifications (CPP, IPASS, etc.) are a plus
- • Strong knowledge of payroll protocols, statutory requirements, tax, and social security regulations
- • Proven software experience with Workday, CloudPay, and advanced Excel proficiency (including V-lookups and complex functions)
- • Demonstrated ability to maintain data confidentiality and uphold strong professional integrity
- • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive problem-solving skills
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
