📋 Description

• • Senior–Staff Machine Learning Researcher at Terra AI, Inc., leading the development of a generative AI platform for clean energy and mineral resource discovery, where your work will directly enable more reliable identification of critical subsurface resources and sustainable production planning.
• • Day to day, you will design, train, test, and iterate on diffusion models for 3D geological models, condition generation on geophysical data and borehole measurements, generate synthetic data to improve model performance, and adapt modeling approaches to real-world projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• • Terra AI is a venture-backed startup (Khosla Ventures) scaling from ~15 to ~30 employees, applying state-of-the-art generative AI, foundation models, and autonomous decision optimization to solve high-impact geoscience problems in partnership with world-class mineral and clean energy organizations.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale deep learning systems, gain hands-on experience deploying diffusion models in scientific applications, and contribute to pioneering AI-driven subsurface exploration that advances clean energy transition and responsible resource development.
