- • Senior/Staff/Principal Security Engineer role focused on securing and modernizing digital environments for the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) through the BESPIN partnership, ensuring ATO compliance and mission readiness.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include protecting sensitive data through security and privacy best practices, conducting security audits and risk analyses, planning and implementing remediations, researching emerging threats, and selecting appropriate open-source tools and technologies for security implementation.
- • Skylight is a digital consultancy partnering with government agencies to improve public services through design and technology, operating at the forefront of civic innovation to serve families, patients, and communities in the digital era.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in DoD Security Ops, NIST RMF, and Kubernetes while contributing to high-impact national security missions, gaining experience in securing complex software pipelines and influencing security practices across the software development lifecycle.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with DoD Security Ops, ATO processes, NIST RMF, and CI/CD pipelines
- • Experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes
- • Ability to detect, assess, and mitigate security risks across the software development lifecycle
- • Ability to interpret regulations and translate them into technical and business requirements
- • U.S. citizenship required; eligibility for public trust or security clearance up to Top Secret
