- • This role is centered around being a technical leader and architect, driving complex projects from conception through to successful implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- • You will play a pivotal role in designing and building robust technical foundations and reusable components, often referred to as "LEGO blocks," which are essential for supporting our Voluntary Life and Disability (vLiDi) products and facilitating seamless integrations with external benefits providers and brokers.
- • A key aspect of your responsibility will be to architect intricate, interconnected technical systems that contribute to the overall scalability of our platform, leveraging your expertise within a Ruby on Rails environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership on complex platform or product engineering projects.
- • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of architectural patterns and best practices for building maintainable, structured, and well-documented code.
- • Deep knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and system design, particularly in the context of complex, interconnected systems.
- • Proven experience working across multiple teams, influencing product and team direction, and advocating for technical health and reusability.
- • Experience engineering, designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
