📋 Description

• The Senior Statistical Programmer leads statistical programming activities for clinical trial data analysis, ensuring timelines, quality, and strategic objectives are met while contributing to process improvements and mentoring junior staff in the Biometrics department.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading creation, validation, traceability, and reproducibility of analysis datasets and statistical outputs; reviewing statistical analysis plans; preparing electronic submissions to regulatory authorities; anticipating resource needs; providing solutions for complex programming tasks; leading data standardization efforts (CDISC SDTM/ADaM); managing electronic subdirectories; developing global programming macros; participating in process improvements; and mentoring junior staff in advanced statistical programming techniques.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in same fields with 5+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience as a statistical programmer in the pharmaceutical industry
• Highly proficient in SAS with demonstrated knowledge of efficient programming techniques
• Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practices, and regulatory requirements/guidelines
• Understanding of CDISC SDTM/ADaM guidelines
• Experience as a lead statistical programmer on several concurrent projects
