- • The Senior Strategic Planning and Development Specialist serves as a senior strategic partner to executives, supporting the shaping and integration of Compassion’s revenue portfolio over a two‑year and longer horizon, enabling durable, forward‑looking decisions about revenue growth, diversification, and sustainability.
- • Day to day, the role involves collaborating with senior leaders to prepare quarterly strategic workshops, leading the annual planning cycle, identifying and sequencing strategic work, maintaining a rolling three‑year strategy and roadmap, and developing strategic data, metrics, dashboards, and tools to support executive decision‑making.
- • The team operates within Compassion International, a global Christian child development ministry committed to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name, where the role partners with the Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Strategy Integration & Execution, and other stakeholders across revenue and strategy teams.
- • In this role, the person can learn to translate executive strategy into actionable plans, lead complex cross‑functional planning processes, build governance mechanisms for strategic execution, and deepen expertise in long‑term revenue strategy and portfolio management within a mission‑driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
- • Ten years of relevant work experience.
- • Experience in revenue or growth strategy within a large global organization.
- • Project Management experience, required; PMI certification preferred.
- • Proficiency with PMIS systems (Workfront, Smartsheet, etc.) for tracking, reporting, and execution.
- • Ability to travel up to 25% of a normal schedule.
