- • As a Senior Systems Engineer at Motorola Solutions, you will be the technical cornerstone for critical post-sale projects, taking full ownership of all technical aspects from the moment a project is awarded until final system acceptance.
- • You will be instrumental in the detailed design and implementation of complex radio communication networks, encompassing infrastructure, subscriber units, power systems, equipment shelters, tower designs, and robust backhaul network solutions. This includes expertise in microwave, leased line, and customer-provided Ethernet networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
- • A key responsibility involves developing and delivering compelling customer presentations, clearly articulating technical solutions and their benefits to diverse audiences, fostering trust and understanding.
- • You will manage the system staging process, ensuring all components are configured and tested prior to deployment, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient installation.
- • Developing comprehensive system acceptance test plans and meticulously conducting functional acceptance testing are crucial to validate that the implemented solutions meet all customer requirements and performance benchmarks.
- • Your role will extend to radio coverage design, in-depth analysis, rigorous testing, and effective interference mitigation, ensuring reliable communication in challenging environments.

- • You will coordinate effectively with various internal functional teams, including Project Managers, Field Engineers, Service, Sales, and Product Groups, to ensure all business unit goals are met and project success is achieved.
- • This role demands a deep understanding of radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF principles, and wireless or broadband/LTE networks.
- • A strong grasp of IP networking, including design methodologies and troubleshooting across Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, and MPLS, is essential for integrating communication systems with broader network infrastructures.
- • You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical solutions and processes, bringing innovative ideas and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Wireless, Computer, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (9+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree).
- • 5+ years of experience in LMR, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Networking Equipment, IP Networking, Solutions Architecture, ASTRO 25, P25, WAVE VoIP, or Military experience.
- • Strong understanding and working knowledge of IP networking, including design methodologies and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS).
- • Must possess a valid driver's license.
