Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Own the end-to-end onboarding and ramp program for Solutions Engineers, covering platform depth, demo certification, discovery methodology, and technical objection handling, while tracking KPIs to accelerate time-to-readiness.
- • Design and maintain a continuous technical learning program that keeps Solutions Engineers current with product updates, competitive shifts, and messaging changes, partnering with Product and Product Marketing to operationalize new releases into field-ready training.
- • Build, manage, and refresh the Solutions Engineer certification framework, including standards for demo quality, technical discovery, and RFx readiness, using AI roleplay tools like LetterAI to scale practice and coaching bi-annually.
- • Develop programs that equip Solutions Engineers with enterprise-grade technical differentiation, industry-specific context, and deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement integrations to win complex deals.
- • Leverage Gong call intelligence, competency assessments, and win/loss data to identify gaps in technical delivery, narrative quality, and demo effectiveness, then design and deploy targeted interventions to close those gaps.
- • Serve as the primary connective tissue between Solutions Engineering leadership, Product Marketing, Product, and RevOps to ensure enablement initiatives are tightly aligned with GTM strategy, product launches, and competitive priorities.
- • Define and track both leading indicators (demo certification pass rates, call quality scores, competitive win rates, early-stage conversion) and lagging indicators (win rate, deal velocity, ACV) to quantify the impact of enablement programs on revenue outcomes.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product roadmap changes into actionable training content, ensuring Solutions Engineers are prepared to articulate value, handle objections, and outperform competitors in technical evaluations.
- • Implement scalable learning pathways that combine structured curriculum, hands-on practice, and performance feedback loops to build technical confidence and consistency across the Solutions Engineering organization.
- • Utilize data-driven insights to refine certification criteria, update training modules, and prioritize enablement efforts based on real-world deal outcomes and customer feedback.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enterprise procurement technology landscapes, including integration points with ERP systems and procurement evaluation cycles, to ensure enablement content remains relevant and impactful.
- • Drive adoption of AI-powered coaching tools and learning platforms to enhance scalability, consistency, and effectiveness of technical enablement across a distributed, high-growth team.
- • Partner with Sales Leadership to align enablement goals with revenue targets, ensuring Solutions Engineers are equipped to accelerate deal velocity and increase average contract value through superior technical demonstrations.
- • Continuously iterate on enablement programs based on feedback from Solutions Engineers, leadership, and performance data to ensure programs remain agile, responsive, and results-oriented.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales enablement, solutions engineering, or a closely related GTM role in a high-growth SaaS environment
- • Deep understanding of the Solutions Engineering function, including how SEs prepare for technical evaluations and what differentiates great demos from average ones
- • Proven experience building certification programs, technical learning journeys, and demo readiness frameworks
- • Hands-on experience with tools like Gong, LMS platforms, and AI roleplay tools (e.g. LetterAI)
- • Strong data orientation and ability to pull insights from call intelligence and performance data to inform program design
- • Excellent communication, cross-functional influence, and project management skills
🏖️ Benefits
- • Start-up equity
- • Full health, vision & dental coverage
- • Team building events
- • Flexible PTO
- • Apple equipment plus home office budget
