- • Lead the end-to-end program management of high-potential, software-defined, AI-native defense systems within Anduril’s Discovery business line, ensuring timely delivery of production-quality capabilities for next-generation air and missile defense.
- • Align cross-functional roadmaps across engineering, product, business, and government stakeholders to prioritize and execute on mission-critical initiatives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with minimal structure.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between internal engineering teams (Perception, AI, Motion Planning, Hardware, Test Engineering, Space, Networking) and external defense contractors and government entities, ensuring clear communication of goals, dependencies, and deliverables.
- • Manage complex technical programs by identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks related to schedule, technology, compliance, and resource allocation, proactively adjusting plans to maintain momentum and avoid bottlenecks.
- • Translate intricate technical challenges into actionable business-impact insights for leadership and external partners, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic alignment.
- • Drive the implementation and refinement of program management processes, including the use of Jira and other industry-standard tooling, to enhance efficiency, traceability, and scalability of engineering deliverables.
- • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, knowledge management repositories, and operational workflows that support production-quality engineering outcomes in a defense technology context.
- • Prepare and deliver clear technical briefs, program updates, and performance reports to internal leadership and external government stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with contractual obligations.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical trade-offs, understand system architectures, and support the integration of AI, sensor fusion, networking, and autonomous systems into cohesive mission platforms.
- • Maintain rigorous oversight of program timelines, resource allocation, and milestone delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing competing priorities in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
- • Foster a culture of operational excellence by implementing best practices in program execution while adapting to the unique regulatory, security, and acquisition constraints of the defense sector.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer for a commercial technology, aerospace, or defense company
- • Strong technical background with familiarity in systems engineering, software development, and networking
- • Proven client-facing technical program management and/or systems engineering experience
- • Experience developing and driving engineering plans through Jira and other industry-standard tooling
- • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical issues into business-impact insights
- • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
