- • Vultr is at the forefront of cloud infrastructure innovation, driven by a mission to make high-performance cloud computing accessible, affordable, and locally available to enterprises and AI pioneers globally. With an expansive network of 32 data center locations spanning the globe, Vultr has earned the trust of hundreds of thousands of active customers across 185 countries. Our comprehensive suite of solutions includes flexible, scalable, and globally distributed Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage services. In a testament to our rapid growth and market leadership, Vultr announced a significant equity financing in December 2024, achieving a valuation of $3.5 billion. Founded by David Aninowsky and sustained through self-funding for over a decade, Vultr has ascended to become the world's largest privately-held cloud infrastructure company.
- • As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Vultr, you will be instrumental in steering the successful execution and delivery of our ambitious global GPU data center deployment initiatives. This pivotal role demands a highly disciplined project leader with a minimum of 6 years of dedicated project management experience. A profound understanding of the data center lifecycle, particularly in the intricate coordination of physical implementations for high-density compute environments, is essential. This is a high-visibility position within a dynamic, high-growth technology company, requiring advanced cross-functional coordination skills and a demonstrated history of successfully managing data center infrastructure deployments for at least 3 years. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex technical designs into tangible, operational realities.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead the planning and meticulous execution of specific project workstreams that form the backbone of our broader GPU data center deployment program. This involves defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with strategic business goals, and ensuring that all project phases are managed efficiently from initiation through to closure.
- • A key aspect of this role is Technical Integration. You will act as the central point of coordination between our sophisticated engineering teams and our dedicated facilities management teams. Your efforts will facilitate the seamless design, site-specific implementation, and ongoing optimization of our cutting-edge data center environments. This includes ensuring that all technical specifications are met and that the infrastructure is robust, scalable, and performant.
- • You will also be responsible for Operational Delivery, managing the entire deployment lifecycle of high-density GPU clusters. This oversight extends to specialized, critical infrastructure components such as advanced liquid cooling systems, essential for maintaining optimal performance of GPU hardware, and complex networking interconnects that ensure high-speed data flow and connectivity.
- • Effective Cross-Functional Leadership is paramount. You will be tasked with driving alignment and fostering collaboration among diverse teams, including Networking, Facilities, Compute Engineering, and Supply Chain. Your ability to ensure seamless project handoffs, proactively identify interdependencies, and implement robust risk mitigation strategies will be critical to the overall success of our deployment projects.
- • Furthermore, you will excel in Schedule & Risk Management. This involves developing detailed, realistic project schedules, meticulously identifying potential bottlenecks or risks before they impact progress, and proactively implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure that deployment timelines are consistently met. Your proactive approach to risk management will safeguard project timelines and budgets.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to Vultr's rapid expansion and to shape the future of cloud infrastructure. You will be an integral part of a fast-growing team, making a tangible impact on our global operations and technological advancements.
