📋 Description

• As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Deepgram, you will own full-cycle recruiting for senior and hard-to-fill technical roles across Research, Engineering, and Product teams, helping scale the company by building pipelines for AI-native technical talent across global markets.
• You will lead global recruiting efforts across multiple regions including the US, EMEA, and APAC, managing sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates while adapting to regional market dynamics and time zones.
• You will partner with hiring managers to define role scope, leveling, and interview plans that align with business needs and regional talent realities, ensuring compliant and scalable hiring practices.
• You will build proactive sourcing strategies for niche senior technical talent, evaluate candidates for technical depth and cultural alignment, and use data and funnel metrics to improve hiring velocity and signal quality globally.
• You will collaborate with People Ops, Legal, and Finance on compliant global hiring, help evolve recruiting infrastructure and tools, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and operational rigor.
• This role is ideal for someone with a builder’s mindset who thrives in ambiguity, values process quality and long-term scalability, and is excited to experiment with AI tools and adapt quickly in a fast-moving, AI-first environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience leading global expansion efforts, including hiring across multiple countries or regions.
• Experience recruiting for at least two of the following domains: Customer Engineering / Solutions Engineering, Backend / Platform Infrastructure, Product Engineering, or Developer-facing roles.
• Strong technical literacy — understanding how modern software systems, APIs, and customer-integrated technical products are built, without needing to code.
• Proven ability to source and close senior-level and highly specialized technical talent in competitive, international markets, especially for roles at the intersection of technical depth and customer impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to push back when balancing speed-to-hire with bar integrity for customer-critical roles.
• A builder's mindset focused on process quality, signal, and long-term scalability, not just filling seats.
