📋 Description
- • Partner closely with technical leadership to understand hiring needs and provide strategic guidance on recruiting best practices for engineering and technical roles
- • Manage full-cycle technical recruitment processes from pipeline building to offer closing in a high-growth environment
- • Build and nurture a proactive pipeline of technical talent to support immediate hiring needs and future organizational scaling
- • Advise hiring managers on market dynamics, competitive compensation benchmarks, and effective talent acquisition strategies
- • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline recruiting workflows and increase operational efficiency across the hiring lifecycle
- • Maintain high standards of data integrity and system hygiene within the Applicant Tracking System (Ashby)
- • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to engage top-tier, passive candidates across multiple technical disciplines including software engineering, AI, and product development
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to align recruiting efforts with broader company goals and growth trajectories
- • Mentor and support other recruiting team members by modeling best practices and providing actionable feedback to elevate team performance
- • Stay current with trends in technology, startup ecosystems, and emerging talent magnets to inform proactive recruitment strategies
- • Use data and metrics to drive decision-making, measure recruitment effectiveness, and influence hiring strategy
- • Operate with decisiveness, simplicity, and a ‘job’s not finished’ mindset to ensure no hire is left unaddressed and no process is left unoptimized
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by building strong relationships and delivering candid, data-informed insights
- • Ensure all candidate interactions are handled with professionalism, consistency, and a deep understanding of technical roles and market expectations
- • Maintain accurate records and reporting within Ashby to support analytics, forecasting, and compliance requirements
- • Act as a key contributor to establishing Harvey’s foundational technical hiring practices in Toronto as an early team member
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
- • Proven track record of building high-performing technical teams at a high-growth company
- • Demonstrated ability to advise hiring managers on market dynamics and compensation strategies
- • Proficiency in managing and maintaining data integrity within an Applicant Tracking System (Ashby)
- • Strong understanding of technical disciplines such as software engineering, AI, and product development
- • Experience mentoring and elevating the performance of other recruiting team members
