Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Hire senior technical talent—including software engineers, ML researchers, and clinical technologists—with a focus on quality of hire, time to productivity, and measurable business impact, not just volume of placements.
- • Partner with engineering and technical leadership to define role scopes, success criteria, and talent bars before sourcing begins, ensuring alignment on what constitutes a strong hire.
- • Build and manage targeted pipelines for hard-to-fill technical roles using outbound sourcing, employee referrals, and creative talent channels.
- • Design and execute structured interview processes that assess technical competency and cultural fit, moving beyond resume screening to evaluate real-world performance and problem-solving ability.
- • Coach hiring managers and interview panels on calibration, bias mitigation, and evidence-based decision-making to improve hiring quality and consistency.
- • Own the end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring every applicant receives clear communication, timely updates, and a respectful close-out regardless of outcome.
- • Develop close plans early in the process by identifying what motivates each candidate and leveraging those insights to increase offer acceptance rates.
- • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics—including cycle time, cost per hire, offer acceptance rate, and quality of hire—to continuously refine processes and drive improvement.
- • Automate or eliminate low-value administrative tasks such as scheduling, note-taking, and debrief coordination to free up time for high-impact strategic work.
- • Manage multiple concurrent requisitions without compromising on candidate quality or process rigor, maintaining high standards even under pressure.
- • Serve as a strategic partner to the business by connecting closed hires to team performance and organizational outcomes, earning influence beyond transactional recruiting.
- • Operate in a fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy, adapting quickly to evolving hiring needs while upholding rigorous standards.
- • Leverage data to inform decisions, using metrics not just for reporting but as a tool to diagnose bottlenecks, test hypotheses, and optimize recruitment strategy.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with technical domains including AI, machine learning, and healthcare technology to effectively evaluate candidates and speak credibly with engineering leaders.
- • Contribute to building recruiting infrastructure such as playbooks, scorecards, and leveling guides, especially in early-stage growth contexts.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical or engineering roles
- • Demonstrated ability to assess technical talent in software engineering, ML research, or equivalent domains beyond resume credentials
- • Experience building structured interview processes and influencing hiring decisions through calibration and bias mitigation
- • Track record of closing senior technical candidates in competitive markets, including navigating counteroffers and competing opportunities
- • Comfort with data: ability to track, interpret, and act on recruiting metrics such as cycle time, offer acceptance, and quality of hire
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft crisp intake briefs and conduct direct, actionable debrief conversations

- • Recruit alongside and for a high-caliber team that challenges and supports your work with seriousness and rigor

- • Equity upside: share in the outcome you help build through company equity
