- • Lead governance, clarity, and execution across Alight’s technology supplier and software portfolio as a high-visibility individual contributor.
- • Maintain a comprehensive view of vendor and application strategy, ownership, and lifecycle stages including sustain, enhance, modernize, and retire.
- • Facilitate regular portfolio reviews to track progress, surface risks, and drive strategic decisions regarding technology investments.
- • Build and maintain vendor scorecards using SLAs, performance metrics, usage data, and satisfaction indicators to monitor supplier accountability.
- • Track vendor issues, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution to uphold business expectations and service delivery.
- • Lead license and usage reviews to compare purchased vs. utilized vs. needed licenses, identifying opportunities to reclaim unused licenses and reduce waste.
- • Provide data-driven insights to support renewal readiness, planning, and forecasting discussions with clear analysis of usage trends and cost drivers.
- • Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal teams to monitor vendor compliance requirements and ensure timely remediation of identified risks.
- • Analyze portfolio performance to identify inefficiencies and support cost optimization initiatives across technology spend.
- • Enable informed decision-making for renewals by preparing structured insights on performance, usage, risks, and business needs—while Strategic Sourcing leads negotiations.
- • Operate in a virtual environment with full remote flexibility, aligned with Alight’s leadership in remote work and flexible arrangements.
- • Ensure all activities comply with U.S. federal government contractor requirements, including adherence to citizenship and work authorization mandates.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate portfolio strategy into measurable outcomes with structure, transparency, and accountability.
- • Contribute to financial planning and forecasting through data-backed analysis of technology spend, vendor performance, and usage patterns.
- • Support continuous process improvement in evolving environments to enhance vendor management efficiency and governance effectiveness.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in technology program management, vendor management, or portfolio governance
- • Experience working with technology vendors (SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or platforms)
- • Understanding of vendor performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs)
- • Comfort building and improving processes in evolving environments
- • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal government contractor obligations
- • Must have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
