📋 Description

• Lead import/export operations as the technical architect of the compliance framework, managing HTS reengineering, country of origin determination, and ITAR/EAR navigation for marine electronics products.
• Act as internal expert for HTS and ECCN classifications, assess systems, and determine how engineering changes impact classification standing.
• Manage export licenses through SNAP-R and D-Trade, partner with Go-To-Market team on regulatory barriers and duty-saving opportunities, and liaise with manufacturing and engineering on BOM compliance and substantial transformation.
• Create and audit shipping documentation, ensure seamless transit of components and goods, and contribute to national and global security through impactful projects in defense and intelligence sectors.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Trade Compliance within Hardware, Marine Electronics, or Robotics
• Deep understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations, including ability to interpret CCL and USML
• Proven ability to analyze hardware components to optimize HTS classifications and minimize duty exposure
