- • Senior Underwriting Counsel for the Energy Group at First American Financial Corporation, providing critical legal and risk analysis support for commercial real estate title insurance transactions nationwide.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering underwriting counsel and authorization to personnel, agents, and customers; applying underwriting standards within delegated authority; guiding teams on real estate settlement services; issuing underwriting guidelines; and communicating underwriting information across teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8-10 years of title underwriting experience, with commercial experience preferred
- • Familiarity with real estate law, including federal and state regulations
- • Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes, practices, and procedures
- • Strong analytical rigor and business acumen
- • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and act decisively with tact and negotiation skills
