📋 Description

• • Own and evolve the complete voice of JioHotstar across consumer and enterprise products, translating brand strategy into crisp, human, and scalable language that delights 750 million weekly viewers.
• • Architect and maintain a living design-language system: voice & tone guidelines, terminology libraries, reusable micro-copy patterns, error-state playbooks, and accessibility-first writing standards that keep every surface—mobile, TV, web, and B2B portals—coherent and future-proof.
• • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers, Brand, and Marketing to turn complex user problems into simple, elegant sentences; influence roadmap decisions by proving how the right words increase comprehension, reduce support tickets, and drive engagement.
• • Audit end-to-end user journeys (onboarding, search, payments, parental controls, live-match stats, enterprise dashboards) and rewrite or create copy that removes friction, injects personality, and respects regional nuance across 12+ Indian languages.
• • Champion inclusive language and accessibility best practices; ensure every string meets WCAG 2.2 AA, supports screen readers, and reflects the diversity of JioStar’s audience.
• • Mentor a growing guild of UX Writers and Content Designers; run writing critiques, craft onboarding curricula, and set quality gates so the entire org ships consistent, high-impact copy—even when you’re not in the room.
• • Leverage AI-assisted writing tools and content-ops platforms to automate variant testing, scale personalization, and free human time for higher-order storytelling and strategy.
• • Present voice-and-tone rationales to executive leadership; use data from A/B tests, usability studies, and support logs to defend creative choices and secure buy-in for systemic improvements.
• • Continuously scan global streaming, fintech, and gaming products for emergent language trends; run quarterly “copy sprints” to pilot new patterns that keep JioHotstar feeling fresh, trustworthy, and unmistakably ours.
• • Contribute to JioStar’s design blog and speak at internal guilds and external conferences, positioning the company as a thought leader in UX writing and content design across APAC.
