- • Serve as a Field Dermatologist providing science-based education and clinical support to veterinarians on allergic and atopic dermatitis, disease state management, and diagnostic approaches.
- • Deliver engaging educational presentations and clinical content to veterinary professionals across diverse settings, including roundtables, conferences, and industry events.
- • Adapt communication strategies to meet the unique needs of individual veterinarians, clinics, and academic institutions to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- • Create innovative educational materials and content to support and expand the Zoetis Dermatology Portfolio based on clinical expertise and emerging scientific insights.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to Zoetis field teams, marketing departments, and corporate leadership on dermatology-related products, services, and pipeline developments.
- • Provide expert input on emerging treatment guidelines and protocols to inform brand strategy, marketing tactics, and business planning.
- • Develop and deliver training programs for sales and technical colleagues to enhance their clinical knowledge and product understanding.
- • Mentor colleagues across business units by sharing clinical experience, best practices, and professional insights to foster organizational growth.
- • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with dermatologists in private practice, veterinary colleges, and specialty organizations.
- • Actively participate in veterinary professional societies by serving on committees, boards, or commissions, and representing Zoetis as a speaker or officer.
- • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of all scientific and medical information related to veterinary dermatology and align personal development with career goals.
- • Demonstrate Zoetis core values by leading with integrity, embracing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, and contributing to sustainability efforts.
- • Travel 60-70% of the time, including weekends, to support field engagements, educational events, and professional organization activities.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, sales, R&D, and medical affairs to ensure alignment between clinical expertise and business objectives.
- • Be recognized as a credible and sought-after speaker capable of delivering keynote addresses and leading high-impact discussions at national veterinary conferences.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proactively integrating clinical insights into future educational and business strategies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- • Board certification in dermatology preferred; board eligibility considered
- • 6-8 years of experience in clinical practice, academia, research, or industry
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills
- • Willingness to travel 60-70% of the time, including weekends
- • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

- • Base salary range of $167,000–$205,000
- • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation
