📋 Description

• Join MDLBEAST as a Senior Web and Mobile Full-Stack Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ticketing platform and its associated products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of systems that power some of the most significant music festivals in the region, impacting millions of attendees and artists.
• You will be instrumental in the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and maintenance of both our web and mobile applications. Your expertise will be crucial in building robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that enhance the ticketing experience for our diverse user base.
• A core responsibility will be the development and meticulous maintenance of our NodeJS backend services. This involves designing and implementing efficient APIs, managing databases, and ensuring the overall health and performance of the server-side logic that underpins our entire ticketing ecosystem.
• Simultaneously, you will be deeply involved in crafting engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our web platform using React and for our mobile applications using React Native. This includes translating complex business requirements into seamless user experiences, ensuring consistency across platforms, and leveraging modern frontend development practices.
• Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with a dynamic, cross-functional team comprising product managers, designers, and fellow engineers. Together, you will brainstorm innovative solutions, identify and implement critical business features, and ensure that our products not only meet but exceed user expectations.
• You will actively participate in project planning sessions, providing accurate estimations for development tasks and contributing to the strategic roadmap of our ticketing products. Your insights will help guide the team towards efficient and effective project execution.
• A significant aspect of your role will involve implementing UI designs based on the atomic design methodology. This approach ensures modularity, reusability, and maintainability of our UI components. You will showcase these components within Storybook, fostering a shared understanding and accelerating development across the team.
• You will be responsible for integrating our platform with a variety of essential SaaS solutions. This includes authentication services, marketing automation tools, notification systems, survey platforms, and more, ensuring a cohesive and powerful user journey.
• Experience with headless CMS is vital, enabling you to manage content efficiently and deliver dynamic experiences across our platforms.
• A strong commitment to quality will be demonstrated through your experience with automated testing. You will implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests (Jest), end-to-end tests (Playwright), and API testing, to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
• You will leverage your expertise in serverless microservices architecture within AWS. This includes working with services such as DynamoDB for NoSQL data storage, Lambda for compute, SQS and EventBridge for asynchronous communication and event-driven workflows, S3 for object storage, CloudWatch for monitoring, and CloudFront for content delivery.
• Familiarity with both RESTful APIs and GraphQL will be essential for designing and consuming data effectively.
• You will also be involved in the mobile app publication process, understanding the intricacies of releasing updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in full-stack development.
• Strong backend experience with NodeJS.
• Strong frontend experience in React, React Native, and Typescript.
• Familiarity with XCode, Android Studio, and native modules development for React Native.
• Experience working with headless CMS.
• Experience with automated testing (Jest, Playwright, E2E API testing).
• Implement UI based on atomic design methodology and showcase components in Storybook.
• Experience with serverless microservices architecture in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with integration to various SaaS platforms (auth, marketing, notification, surveys, etc.).
• Experience with mobile app publication process.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
• DevOps knowledge (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as a code (SST) (Nice to have).
• Backend experience with .NET Core is a plus (Nice to have).
