📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across all Yuno environments using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS services including EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, and CloudFront.
• Provide primary operational support for transactional systems and merchant integrations, ensuring high reliability, performance, and uptime of payment infrastructure serving 80+ countries.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and custom Terraform modules to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Monitor, analyze, and tune system performance using metrics from operating systems and applications to identify bottlenecks, prevent failures, and enhance scalability.
• Partner with development teams to implement observability practices, enabling proactive detection and resolution of service issues across microservices architectures.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct blameless postmortems, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of system failures.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for servers, containers, and network configurations to protect sensitive payment data and comply with global standards.
• Manage Kubernetes networking, security policies, Helm charts, and Operators to ensure secure and efficient orchestration of containerized applications.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure resilience, deployment speed, and operational automation.
• Collaborate across global teams to support the integration of over 1,000 payment methods via a single API, enabling brands like InDrive, McDonald’s, Rappi, and Viva Aerobus to operate seamlessly worldwide.
• Contribute ideas to solve complex infrastructure challenges with a strategic, detail-oriented mindset, prioritizing innovation and customer impact.
• Maintain and upgrade infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments while ensuring zero downtime during deployments.
• Work autonomously in a remote, high-performing team environment with flexibility across Americas or Europe time zones.
• Translate business needs into technical infrastructure solutions that accelerate time-to-market and support Yuno’s global expansion goals.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a SysAdmin, DevOps, or SRE
• Fluency in Linux distributions (RHEL-based, Debian-based, etc.)
• Deep experience with Kubernetes (networking, security, Helm, Operators)
• Proficiency with Terraform (custom modules, AWS providers, infrastructure upgrades)
• Solid experience with AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront)
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible
