- • Serve as a Senior Zone Installation Specialist for Philips Healthcare in the Midwest Zone (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI), delivering best-in-class installation and customer service for medical imaging equipment.
- • Learn and master the full installation process for diagnostic imaging systems, establishing strong customer rapport while demonstrating urgency in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- • Must be qualified to perform installation, diagnosis, and repair work in at least one medical imaging modality; expected to pursue qualification in multiple modalities over time.
- • Maintain current knowledge of technical advances and industry trends in medical imaging, actively seeking formal and informal training opportunities to enhance expertise.
- • Adhere to Philips and regulatory standards by completing all administrative duties within required timeframes, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance documentation, and installation records.
- • Apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, troubleshoot, and repair complex medical imaging equipment using specialized tools and test equipment.
- • Work in diverse environments including home office, hospital/healthcare settings, and customer sites, ensuring full compliance with all safety and operational protocols.
- • Travel up to 100% within the Midwest Zone, utilizing car, air, train, or bus; may include weekend stays and occasional international travel with overnight stays spanning multiple weeks.
- • Work flexible hours as needed, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations to meet business demands and customer needs.
- • Safely operate in environments with radiation sources or radioactive materials, consistently wearing all required personal protective equipment.
- • Maintain professional conduct and technical proficiency while representing Philips in customer-facing roles, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
- • Operate as a field-based role, with no expectation of regular onsite presence at Philips facilities; primary work location is at customer sites or remote settings.
- • Contribute to team success by adopting best practices, scheduling own activities efficiently, and proactively assisting colleagues when needed.
- • Ensure all work complies with Philips’ Field Service Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental Job Requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based); preferred experience with Image Guided Therapy equipment
- • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair medical imaging equipment
- • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred
- • Must be able to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment
- • Must reside in or within commuting distance of the Midwest Zone (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI)
- • US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available
