📋 Description

• The SEO/GEO Specialist will drive organic visibility and authority for Doola in AI-powered search and traditional search engines, directly impacting how non-US founders discover and trust Doola for US business formation.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research for LLC formation and compliance topics, optimizing on-page content for search intent, building topical authority through content strategy, monitoring rankings in AI search platforms (like Perplexity and Gemini), analyzing SERP features, and collaborating with content and product teams to align SEO with user journey stages.
• Doola is a Series A, Y Combinator-backed company (S20) that simplifies business formation, compliance, banking, and taxes for entrepreneurs worldwide, with a strong focus on empowering non-US founders to launch and grow US-based businesses.
• In this role, you will develop expertise in emerging AI search optimization (GEO), gain hands-on experience scaling organic channels in a high-intent legal/financial niche, and contribute to a long-term moat by establishing Doola as the dominant authority in LLC formation across both traditional and generative search engines.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO with a focus on content optimization and keyword strategy
• Understanding of how AI search platforms (e.g., Perplexity, Gemini) surface and rank information
• Ability to conduct competitive analysis and identify content gaps in the business formation/compliance space
• Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or SurferSEO
• Strong analytical skills to interpret rankings, traffic, and user behavior data
• Excellent written communication skills for crafting and guiding SEO-optimized content
