- • The ServiceNow ITOM Architect will lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow IT Operations Management capabilities for the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force, supporting consistent IT services across 187 bases.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with CMDB PM, Government PM, and stakeholders; leading a team of ITOM Engineers; participating in enterprise discovery workshops; contributing to Agile processes like Sprint Planning and Grooming; engaging in Technical Architecture Group (TAG) and Change Advisory Board (CAB); updating contract deliverables such as Architecture Plan and Test Plan; and supporting security assessments of the ITOM solution.
- • The role is part of CACI International Inc, a company transforming IT services from base-centric to enterprise-level delivery for federal clients, with a focus on mission enablement and innovation in defense IT infrastructure.
- • The architect will gain deep expertise in large-scale government IT modernization, lead technical teams, influence enterprise architecture decisions, and advance proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, ITIL, and Agile methodologies while contributing to national defense missions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
- • 15+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 5 years)
- • DoD 8570 Security certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping
- • Experience architecting complex enterprise systems
- • Broad technical background including prior development in Java or another programming language
