📋 Description

• This role is for a Shopify Developer who will serve as the primary in-house technical resource responsible for maintaining, customizing, and extending the company’s Shopify Plus environment to support U.S.-based clients.
• Day to day, the developer will maintain and customize the Shopify Plus theme, implement new features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, manage integrations with platforms like Braintree, NetSuite, and Attentive, optimize site performance and Core Web Vitals, collaborate with an external agency via Git and Jira, and independently test and validate functionality across devices and browsers.
• The company is a growing eCommerce business operating on Shopify Plus, focused on delivering exceptional online shopping experiences through innovation, performance optimization, and customer-centric design, working with U.S.-based clients and requiring availability during U.S. business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST).
• The person can learn and achieve deep expertise in Shopify Plus development, end-to-end eCommerce platform management, performance optimization, API integrations, and technical leadership within a scaling organization, gaining ownership over critical platform improvements and long-term growth initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience developing and maintaining Shopify Plus environments
• Deep experience building and supporting heavily customized Shopify themes
• Experience implementing custom app integrations and API-driven functionality
• Experience working with Shopify Admin APIs and Storefront APIs
• Experience optimizing site speed, theme architecture, and frontend performance
• Experience using Git-based version control workflows
