- • Develop custom Shopify themes and functionalities from scratch, ensuring responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and optimal site performance.
- • Implement third-party Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality, including payment gateways, customer data systems, and marketing tools.
- • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, adhering to industry best practices.
- • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate UI/UX designs into fully functional, high-performing Shopify websites.
- • Maintain, debug, and optimize existing Shopify sites, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, broken functionality, and SEO issues.
- • Manage backend tasks such as product catalog updates, customer data integrations, and custom API connections between Shopify and external systems.
- • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and conversion rate improvements using proven optimization techniques and analytics insights.
- • Conduct comprehensive QA and testing processes prior to deployment, ensuring functionality across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- • Stay current with emerging Shopify trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance client outcomes.
- • Work within a remote-first environment supporting a team in the EST time zone, coordinating across time zones for seamless delivery.
- • Participate in interdisciplinary workflows, contributing insights beyond core development responsibilities to drive growth and innovation.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Shopify websites.
- • Proficiency in Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- • Experience with Shopify API integrations and custom app development.
- • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.
- • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and familiarity with modern development workflows.
- • Strong understanding of website optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and analytics.
