📋 Description

• • Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of DriveWealth’s global trading platform, ensuring 99.99 % uptime for millions of daily transactions across equities, options, and crypto markets.
• • Design and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (EKS, RDS, MSK, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to support low-latency, high-throughput workloads.
• • Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm, Flux) that deploy microservices written in Java, Kotlin, Go, and Python dozens of times per day with zero-downtime blue/green and canary strategies.
• • Instrument end-to-end observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and custom dashboards that surface SLIs/SLOs to traders, regulators, and internal teams within seconds of an anomaly.
• • Lead incident response as part of a 24×7 on-call rotation (follow-the-sun across US, EMEA, APAC), performing root-cause analyses (RCA) and driving blameless post-mortems that turn outages into permanent fixes.
• • Optimize cost and performance by rightsizing Kubernetes clusters, tuning JVM garbage collection, leveraging Graviton and Spot instances, and automating capacity forecasting based on market volatility patterns.
• • Partner with Security & Compliance to harden the perimeter (WAF, IAM SCPs, network micro-segmentation) and meet SEC, FINRA, SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS, and GDPR requirements without slowing delivery.
• • Create self-service tooling (CLI, Slack bots, internal portals) that empowers developers to provision environments, rotate secrets, and query logs without filing tickets.
• • Automate chaos engineering and game-day drills (Gremlin, Litmus) to validate failover, multi-region replication, and disaster-recovery playbooks before real market stress events.
• • Contribute to architectural decisions on service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), event sourcing (Kafka, Debezium), and data-tier sharding to keep latency under 50 ms for order flow.
• • Mentor junior SREs and DevOps engineers through pair programming, architecture reviews, and brown-bag sessions, fostering a culture of reliability and continuous learning.
• • Collaborate with Quant, Product, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory changes into technical controls, ensuring new asset classes can launch in weeks, not months.
• • Champion SRE best practices across the org: error budgets, toil reduction, and “automate everything” mindset, measured by quarterly OKRs and customer NPS.
• • Influence the technology roadmap by presenting reliability metrics and cost-optimization wins to the CTO and executive leadership, directly impacting company valuation and investor confidence.
• • Work 100 % remotely from anywhere in the U.S. while staying connected via Slack, Zoom, and quarterly in-person summits designed for deep collaboration and team bonding.
