- • Ensure the health, repeatability, and operational excellence of infrastructure across cloud and edge environments for intelligence systems supporting national security missions.
- • Perform routine operations and maintenance including patching, updates, and remote management of infrastructure systems.
- • Improve and optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps workflows to automate deployment processes and reduce manual toil.
- • Develop and deploy automated testing and validation frameworks for all infrastructure changes to ensure reliability and consistency.
- • Maintain observability hygiene by ensuring logs, metrics, and dashboards remain properly configured and integrated as systems evolve.
- • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Nix to manage and provision infrastructure in a repeatable, scalable manner.
- • Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and containerized environments including Kubernetes to support high-availability systems.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to act as an operational force multiplier, focusing on maximizing uptime and minimizing manual intervention.
- • Systematically identify manual processes and replace them with automated, scalable solutions to enhance platform resilience.
- • Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards required for handling classified intelligence systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
- • Mid-level experience in systems administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering with proficiency in Linux, IaC (Terraform/Nix), CI/CD, and scripting.
- • Comfort and experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- • Operational mindset focused on measuring success through uptime, repeatability, and reduction of manual steps.
- • Aptitude for building automated test and validation systems for infrastructure deployments.
