- • As a Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer for RingCentral’s SLED (State, Local, Education, and Major Accounts) segment, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to high-value enterprise customers, directly influencing purchasing decisions by aligning RingCentral’s UCaaS, CCaaS, and AI-powered solutions with complex business needs. Your expertise will be critical in driving revenue growth in a $93B market opportunity, helping RingCentral maintain its position as a $2B ARR leader in unified communications.
- • Day-to-day, you will own technical pre-sales engagement for assigned SLED accounts, including developing customized solution architectures, delivering advanced remote and in-person presentations to C-suite stakeholders (CEO, CIO, CTO), conducting Proof of Concept (POC) deployments, responding to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and translating customer requirements into actionable product feature requests that inform RingCentral’s roadmap. You will also mentor junior Sales Engineers, stay current on competitive landscapes, and represent RingCentral at industry events.
- • You will join a high-performing, customer-obsessed sales engineering team within RingCentral’s Enterprise Sales organization, collaborating closely with Account Executives, Product Management, and Customer Success to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions. The team operates with a startup agility within a $2B+ revenue enterprise, backed by over $250M annual investment in AI and platform innovation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-driven communications technologies, including Agentic and Conversational AI, while shaping the future of enterprise contact center and UCaaS deployments. You’ll gain visibility into Fortune 500 and public sector decision-making processes, build executive-level influence, and position yourself as a go-to technical leader in unified communications—potentially advancing into architecture, solutions strategy, or sales leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of hands-on experience in VoIP network architecture, protocols (SIP, MGCP, RTP, IMS, HTTP/S, XML, SMTP, SNMP, SSH), and solutions, with strong emphasis on telephony and Soft Switch technologies.
- • Advanced comprehension of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, particularly Agentic and Conversational AI (IVA), and proven ability to apply AI-powered solutions to business opportunities in UCaaS and CCaaS contexts.
- • Strong proficiency with Contact Center technologies, products, and services, including deep understanding of enterprise business market communications requirements and competitive solution landscapes.
- • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, deliver executive-level presentations, and manage complex technical fulfillment of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region and ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.
- • RingCentral product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings in VoIP, Mobile Communications, Fixed Mobile Convergence, or Legacy Telecom equipment is preferred.
