  • • As the Social Lead for Executive and Corporate Communications at Airwallex, you will shape the company’s voice in the U.S. market by leading social-first campaigns that highlight its role in enabling global startups and driving AI-powered financial innovation. This role is critical to amplifying Airwallex’s mission of building the future of global banking through strategic storytelling that resonates with tech, finance, and policy audiences.
  • • You will lead the creation of social-first campaigns centered on Airwallex’s core pillars: AI-driven growth, modern global banking, and the empowerment of startups to operate without borders. This includes developing high-impact content that translates complex fintech innovations into accessible, engaging narratives for executive and brand channels.
  • • You will partner closely with Product Marketing to translate technical product launches into creative, high-impact social campaigns across multiple channels and for executive audiences, ensuring that product value is clearly demonstrated and aligned with broader market trends.
  • • You will work directly with the Corporate Communications team to build bespoke social strategies for the CEO and select executives, growing their personal audiences and positioning them as thought leaders on fintech evolution, AI platform shifts, and the future of cross-border commerce.
  • • You will partner with Corporate Communications to inject the Airwallex brand into the center of Silicon Valley conversations, developing a distinct corporate voice on platforms like X and LinkedIn that connects the company to breaking news in technology, economic policy, and global finance.
  • • You will think expansively about channel strategy, leveraging internal teams and external creative agencies to produce high-end video series—such as documentary-style customer stories and motion graphics—that showcase how Airwallex enables borderless growth for innovative businesses worldwide.
  • • You will stay ahead of platform shifts by experimenting with new formats and distribution models, ensuring Airwallex’s message remains relevant and resonant in a fast-evolving digital landscape where attention is fragmented and competition for visibility is intense.
  • • You will translate social sentiment and engagement data into actionable business insights for the executive team, using analytics to refine strategy, measure brand impact, and inform communications decisions tied to reputation, sentiment, and market perception.
  • • You will operate within a global organization, adapting U.S.-centric narratives for a company that serves customers across 26 offices and multiple regulatory jurisdictions, ensuring cultural and contextual relevance while maintaining brand consistency.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or integrated communications, with a proven ability to lead high-velocity, creative campaigns in fast-paced environments.
  • • Proven track record in B2B tech, fintech, AI, crypto, or enterprise SaaS, including deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, venture capital cycles, and global regulatory landscapes affecting financial technology.
  • • Experience working directly with C-Suite executives to build personal brands through ghostwriting, reputation management, and strategic content development on LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
  • • Experience managing external creative agencies and internal production teams to deliver high-quality video content, including documentary-style customer stories, motion graphics, and short-form social video.
  • • Native understanding of the algorithms and cultural nuances of LinkedIn and X, demonstrated through a portfolio showing successful integration of brand messaging into trending global technology and economic conversations.
  • • Ability to translate social sentiment and engagement data into actionable business insights for executive stakeholders, using analytics to inform strategy and measure impact on brand perception and market positioning.
