📋 Description

• This Social Media & Content Intern role at Aspora, Inc. is designed to own and elevate the brand’s presence across key social platforms by creating culturally resonant content for the global NRI diaspora audience.
• Day to day, the intern will write captions, carousel copy, and short-form video scripts for Reels and YouTube Shorts; manage the monthly social calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube; engage with comments and DMs; identify trends relevant to the NRI community; and analyze weekly performance to inform content strategy.
• Aspora is a fast-growing fintech startup building a borderless financial operating system for globally mobile users, backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator, with a team of 150+ across multiple countries and a culture rooted in extreme ownership and customer impact.
• The intern will gain hands-on experience in social media strategy and content creation for a niche audience, receive direct mentorship from the marketing team, develop expertise in diaspora-focused fintech communication, and have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role based on performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently completing or recently finished a degree in Mass Comm, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Ability to write clean, witty, and concise copy that resonates with audiences
• Genuine curiosity about NRI life, personal finance, or Indian culture abroad
• Active and knowledgeable user of Instagram and YouTube with an eye for effective content
• Comfortable interpreting insights dashboards and forming data-informed points of view
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, or basic video editing is a plus
