- • Own the end-to-end architecture for SHI’s eCommerce platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, security, and customer experience standards.
- • Set and champion engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices to elevate code quality, system resilience, and maintainability.
- • Leverage deep expertise in eCommerce components—including shopping cart, payment processing, catalog management, order fulfillment, search, and personalization—to guide platform modernization and innovation.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, senior engineers, security teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical strategies.
- • Mentor and coach engineers and architects across multiple teams, providing architectural reviews, guiding technical debates, and fostering growth in architectural thinking.
- • Develop and continuously refine the architectural roadmap for the eCommerce platform, balancing technical debt reduction, innovation, and feature delivery timelines.
- • Introduce new technologies, patterns, and practices to enhance platform quality, developer efficiency, and business agility.
- • Produce and maintain high-quality architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Guide cloud adoption strategies and ensure the platform is optimized for cloud-native environments using Azure and AWS.
- • Champion DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and monitoring to ensure reliability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- • Lead software design processes based on functional requirements from product teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- • Consult with project teams and end users to identify, analyze, and prioritize application requirements.
- • Design, develop, implement, and deploy new and existing software solutions with a primary focus on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs in existing software systems, designing and releasing targeted fixes to maintain platform stability.
- • Recommend and drive improvements to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps workflows to increase team efficiency and deployment reliability.
- • Foster a high-performance development environment by enhancing testing, integration, and deployment practices across engineering teams.
- • Serve as a technical leader by teaching, mentoring, and advancing the organization’s software development practices and culture.
- • Conduct code and design reviews to ensure team-wide adherence to company standards and architectural principles.
- • Act as a key contributor for major design decisions, establishing and enforcing technical and coding standards for software development.
- • Manage complex documentation projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- • Use analytical thinking to solve complex technical problems, draw insights from data, and communicate effective solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate adaptability by leading teams through organizational and technical change, creating a culture open to innovation and improvement.
- • Manage time effectively, accurately estimate task durations, balance competing priorities, and help others improve their time management skills.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in software development
- • 5+ years of experience with DevOps methodologies
- • 5+ years of experience with C#, React, JavaScript, SQL
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- • Ability to travel up to 10%
- • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
