📋 Description

• Lead a strategic ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Pro program for a global financial services client, driving end-to-end implementation from assessment to managed operations.
• Own the program charter, manage stakeholder relationships across IT, Procurement, Finance, Security, and HR, and ensure compliance with publisher licensing terms.
• Execute phase-by-phase responsibilities including discovery architecture design, entitlement loading, ELP production, workflow integration, and ongoing compliance reporting.
• Partner with Astreya’s SW Data Analyst in Mumbai and client ServiceNow teams to deliver measurable outcomes such as audit readiness, license optimization, and ROI above 3:1 in Year 1.
• Build sustainable governance models, deliver training, maintain audit-defensible documentation, and lead publisher audit responses using ServiceNow as the system of record.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Software Asset Management role.
• At least 2 years directly leading a ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation from Phase 0 to first ELP publication.
• Hands-on experience designing multi-source discovery architecture across platforms such as SCCM and Jamf Pro.
• Proven ability to load entitlement records from purchase order data for at least three Tier 1 publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe).
• Demonstrated experience producing and validating an Effective License Position (ELP) for Microsoft and at least one of Oracle or Adobe.
• Experience integrating SAM Pro into ITSM workflows and running reclamation workflows through confirmed uninstall.
