- • As a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - Cloud Products & Tools (CMS CPT) program, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate software asset tracking, license compliance, and cost optimization for federal IT operations, directly contributing to mission-critical healthcare technology initiatives.
- • You will develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards for SAM operations, monitor software utilization and license compliance, generate Effective License Position (ELP) reports, identify cost optimization opportunities through data analysis, ensure data integrity across reporting platforms, track KPIs, contribute to ITAM process improvements, and provide mentorship or task leadership to team members as needed.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, or work experience
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT asset reporting roles
- • Expertise in ServiceNow SAM Workspace dashboards, data analysis, and reporting; strong skills with SQL, Excel, and ServiceNow Performance Analytics; understanding of SAM/ITAM principles, software license compliance metrics, entitlement tracking, SaaS usage analytics, license reclamation, and cost optimization from financial models or vendor pricing structures
