• • As a Software Backend Engineer at Hala Systems Inc., you will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Hala’s platforms, directly enabling SMEs across the MENAP region to access cutting-edge financial and technological tools. Your work will support Hala’s mission to redefine financial services and build the future bank for small and medium enterprises.
• • Day to day, you will build and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance systems; collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements; integrate with third-party systems and internal APIs; write clean, maintainable, and testable code; implement authentication and authorization mechanisms; contribute to architecture discussions; monitor system performance; participate in code reviews and mentoring; support CI/CD deployment and maintenance; and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
