- • As a Software Backend Engineer at Sardine Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing, constructing, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems that power the company’s fraud prevention and AML compliance platform, which protects over 300 banks, retailers, and fintechs worldwide from identity fraud, payment fraud, account takeovers, and social engineering scams.
- • Day to day, you will design, create, and maintain robust, efficient, and reliable backend services; collaborate with business stakeholders to architect and implement new services from inception to delivery; contribute to developing new features that deliver substantial customer value; work with engineering and product teams to synchronize efforts; craft and maintain user-facing technical documentation; and help shape the company’s engineering culture by upholding high engineering standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in web backend development
- • Proficiency in Golang is a significant advantage
- • Additional experience in data engineering is highly desirable
- • Track record of successfully delivering high-quality production services and systems
- • Customer-centric approach with strong emphasis on empathy towards users
- • Relevant industry experience in banking or fintech, and domain knowledge in fraud prevention or compliance
