- • Drive end-to-end product quality by instrumenting crash analytics, ANR detection, and real-time performance dashboards. You will triage production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ship hot-fixes within hours, ensuring 99.9 % uptime during marquee live events like IPL and the World Cup.
- • Optimize cold-start time, scroll jank, and memory footprint across a fragmented device landscape that ranges from entry-level Android Go phones to flagship foldables. You will leverage Jetpack Compose, lazy lists, custom view recycling, and background task scheduling to deliver a buttery-smooth experience.
- • Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate on-device personalization models that recommend the next binge-worthy series in under 50 ms. You will design caching strategies, implement model hot-swapping, and ensure user privacy through differential privacy techniques.
- • Build resilient networking layers that gracefully degrade from 5 G to 2 G, prefetch thumbnails, and adapt video bitrate in real time. You will experiment with HTTP/3, QUIC, and edge caching to shave milliseconds off every API call.
- • Create delightful UI components—animated hero carousels, interactive polls, picture-in-picture transitions—that feel native to Android while pushing creative boundaries. You will work hand-in-hand with designers to translate Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, accessible implementations.
- • Champion engineering standards by defining modular Gradle conventions, static-analysis rules, and CI/CD pipelines that run 5 000+ espresso tests on Firebase Test Lab for every commit. Your tooling will reduce build times by 30 % and catch regressions before they reach users.
- • Explore emerging technologies—Wear OS, Android TV, Automotive OS, and foldable layouts—to prototype next-generation viewing experiences. You will publish internal tech blogs and present brown-bag sessions that inspire the broader Android guild.
- • Own the mobile developer experience by creating self-service wizards, documentation portals, and sample apps that empower feature teams to ship faster without compromising quality. You will measure DX metrics and iterate based on quarterly surveys.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of professional Android development with deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK
- • Proven ability to solve low-level design problems in distributed systems and craft scalable mobile architectures
- • Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, Firebase, AWS, and real-time analytics platforms
- • Strong grasp of performance optimization techniques—memory profiling, systrace, GPU overdraw analysis
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
