- • Develop and deliver high-quality software for a cloud-based platform used by commercial and government customers, including the Department of Defense
- • Work with a distributed team on both front-end and back-end components of the platform in a fast-paced agile environment
- • Write, review, maintain, test, and deploy code as part of the full product development lifecycle
- • Design and implement system architecture based on product and feature requirements
- • Develop integrations with other applications and systems within the cloud ecosystem
- • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for best coding practices
- • Engage in the development, maintenance, and optimization of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements
- • Apply understanding of REST APIs, authentication, event-driven architectures, and microservices to solve complex technical problems
- • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve bugs and system issues independently and as part of a team
- • Work remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with team members across time zones
- • Contribute to infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform
- • Utilize Kubernetes and CNCF tooling (Flux, ArgoCD, Tekton, etc.) to manage containerized applications
- • Deploy and manage services on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
- • Store and retrieve data using object storage (Google Cloud Storage/AWS S3) and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, RDS, Cloud SQL)
- • Use Golang and TypeScript as primary programming languages for development
- • Operate within a DevSecOps framework, adhering to security and compliance standards for government contracts
- • View obstacles as opportunities for growth and maintain a bias toward action and measurable results
- • Provide compassionate yet direct feedback and foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture
- • Support the mission of accelerating the adoption of disruptive, commercially-proven technology for U.S. national security
🎯 Requirements
- • Three years of Software Engineering experience with problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- • Experience with the full product development lifecycle
- • Understanding of systems development concepts including REST APIs, authentication, and event-driven architectures
- • Strong understanding of microservices
- • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
