- • Software Engineer at Valon Technologies, Inc. plays a critical role in building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing, by developing robust and scalable software that transforms outdated financial infrastructure.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include learning new technologies quickly, designing and building extensible infrastructure to handle complex federal, state, and agency regulations, diving deep into the mortgage industry’s inner workings, and collaborating with Product and Design teams to define optimal customer experiences.
- • The engineering team consists of top-tier talent from companies like Stripe, Jane Street, Meta, and Google, operating in a tight-knit, high-autonomy environment focused on solving complex problems in the mortgage and regulated finance space.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in regulated financial systems, contribute to a platform managing over $110 billion in loans, work with modern technologies including Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud, and have the opportunity to make significant business impact while growing technically and professionally.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- • 1 year of software engineering experience building quality software applications at scale
- • Experience with web application development, mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management
- • Legal authorization to work in the United States
