- • As a Software Engineer at Maneva, you will play a pivotal role in transforming manufacturing through AI-driven automation by building full-stack applications that power real-time vision systems, operational dashboards, and edge-deployed tools used in factories across North America. Your work will directly enable autonomous factory operations, improving production efficiency, safety, and quality control for industrial customers.
- • You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of software features — from designing intuitive user interfaces and scalable backend services to managing databases, deploying cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability through monitoring and CI/CD pipelines. This role bridges cutting-edge AI research with real-world industrial impact, requiring both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.
- • Maneva is a Toronto-based AI startup founded by an ex-Google DeepMind researcher, dedicated to revolutionizing manufacturing with practical, deployable AI solutions that integrate with existing hardware and vision systems to solve urgent operational challenges in inspection, efficiency, and safety.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, and real-time systems while gaining unique exposure to AI integration in industrial settings — positioning you at the forefront of applied AI engineering with tangible impact on global manufacturing.
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- • Strong frontend development skills — proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS/UI frameworks
- • Solid backend development experience in Python, Node.js, or equivalent, with a track record of building production APIs and services
- • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including schema design and query optimization
- • Experience deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure (compute, storage, networking, managed services)
- • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices: automated testing, configuration management, versioned releases
- • Ability to own features end-to-end, from UI to database, with strong debugging skills across the full stack
- • Strong collaboration skills across ML, deployment, and customer-facing teams
- • Willingness to travel to customer deployments in Canada and the United States as needed
