- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing features using object-oriented principles (PHP preferred), owning technical implementation from design to deployment, using AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude to enhance productivity, diagnosing bugs via logs and metrics, contributing to automated testing, participating in code reviews, applying secure coding practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining documentation, and staying current on AI-assisted development trends.
- • Ensora Health is a leader in healthcare technology for therapists, providing AI-enabled solutions across practice management, EMR, e-prescribing, and billing to reduce administrative burden and improve care coordination.
- • The role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in object-oriented design, AI-augmented software engineering, secure coding, observability, and full-stack web development while contributing to meaningful healthcare technology that impacts therapist-client workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented language (PHP preferred)
- • Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
- • Experience working in a Linux-based development environment
- • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3
- • Solid experience with relational databases and SQL/MySQL
- • Working understanding of system architecture, debugging strategies, and observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
- • Demonstrated commitment to code quality, testing, and maintainable design
- • Practical experience using or strong interest in AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, or documentation responsibly
