📋 Description

• Design and deliver new banking features that scale with a growing customer base to ensure a seamless mobile experience for millions of users.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to ship high-quality code, partnering on complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to support a growing remote engineering organization.
• Tackle complex, high-stakes systems involving sensitive financial data and real-time money movement with precision and security.
• Build and ship product features across iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native and similar frameworks.
• Work with Node.js and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Contribute to a scalable, user-facing financial platform that integrates banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto.
• Partner with employers, HCM providers, and gig platforms to deliver embedded financial services to frontline workers and employees.
• Operate with urgency and proactivity, embodying a builder and executor mindset in a high-growth fintech environment.
• Prioritize quality across code, communication, and team culture while maintaining low ego and high accountability.
• Ensure system reliability and performance under scale, addressing challenges unique to consumer fintech and real-time financial transactions.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Work within a remote-first, US-based team with flexible time off and a mission-driven culture focused on fixing broken financial systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience shipping and scaling user-facing applications or backend services.
• Experience working on mobile or user-facing applications — ideally with React Native or similar frameworks.
• Passion for craft and care for team culture, with demonstrated drive and proactivity as a builder and executor.
