📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer in Core Technology at Nexar Ltd., you will build the technical foundations powering the company’s most demanding capabilities, focusing on either ML Engineering or Framework Engineering to drive research velocity and product performance for Nex Playground, an award-winning active play system designed to get families moving through natural body motion.
• Day to day, you will design and build training pipelines, data workflows, and model integration systems (ML Engineering track) or develop cross-platform frameworks for sensing, detection, haptics, and ML inference with real-time execution systems and hardware abstraction layers (Framework Engineering track), while writing clean, well-tested code, participating in code reviews, contributing to shared tools, and collaborating with researchers or engineers to remove technical blockers.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in machine learning systems, real-time software, data infrastructure, or cross-platform development, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge sensing technologies and multimodal interaction, and contribute to shared infrastructure projects while working in a dual-leadership model that supports technical growth and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in building production ML systems, training infrastructure, or research platforms (ML Engineering track) OR 3+ years in building real-time software frameworks, cross-platform systems, or performance-critical applications (Framework Engineering track)
• Proficiency in Python with additional experience in C++, C#, Java, Rust, or Go (ML Engineering track) OR proficiency in C++/C# with additional experience in one of those systems languages (Framework Engineering track)
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow in production or research environments (ML Engineering track) OR experience with cross-platform development, performance optimization, real-time systems, hardware abstraction layers, and building developer APIs or software frameworks (Framework Engineering track)
• Experience building or maintaining ML training pipelines or data workflows (ML Engineering track) OR proven track record with performance optimization, real-time systems, or hardware abstraction layers (Framework Engineering track)
• Familiarity with model deployment, inference optimization, or MLOps practices (ML Engineering track) OR experience building developer APIs or software frameworks used by other engineers (Framework Engineering track)
