Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Join Arcadia, a pioneering force in healthcare technology, as a Full Stack Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care. We are on a mission to create a more sustainable healthcare world, powered by data, and our platform is at the forefront of this transformation. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our Care Coordination Platform, the engine that drives intuitive workflows, delivers real-time insights, and leverages AI to empower healthcare administrators. This is an opportunity to work on a product that directly impacts millions of patients by enabling better care management, boosting revenue, and reducing costs for healthcare organizations.
- • As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment. You'll be working across the technology stack, building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that seamlessly integrate with Arcadia's robust data ecosystem. Your expertise will be crucial in both enhancing our existing platform and actively contributing to the strategic deprecation of legacy systems as we build towards a more modern and efficient future.
- • Your day-to-day will involve designing and building sophisticated full-stack applications tailored for complex care coordination workflows. This includes developing highly responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using modern technologies like React and TypeScript, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our clients. On the backend, you'll implement robust services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, with Ruby experience being a valuable asset. You will also be at the cutting edge of integrating AI models and services, embedding intelligent recommendations and predictive capabilities directly into our platform to drive smarter care decisions.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, including services like S3, Hudi, and Athena, for efficient data access, storage, and processing. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of talented engineers, visionary designers, and insightful product managers to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. Your contributions will extend to participating actively in code reviews, engaging in critical architectural discussions, and championing the adoption of best practices across the engineering team.
- • We are particularly interested in your ability to refine and iterate on our team's usage of AI. This means actively exploring and implementing AI-driven features to improve internal processes, boost engineer productivity, and enhance the maintainability of our codebase. Furthermore, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of workflows that are critical to patient care.
- • Within your first three months, you'll gain a deep understanding of the Care Coordination Platform's architecture and core workflows. You'll start contributing to front-end development using React and TypeScript, and begin building and deploying backend services in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot. You'll also develop familiarity with our AI-driven features and integration points, such as those involving Claude and Cursor.
- • By the six-month mark, you'll be delivering new features end-to-end across the entire stack. You will have implemented AI-powered functionality to significantly enhance user experience and will be actively optimizing our application's utilization of AWS infrastructure, including S3, ECS, and RDS. Effective collaboration with product, design, and data science teams will be a hallmark of your success.
- • Looking ahead to twelve months, you will be ready to act as a technical lead for new feature development, driving innovation in our AI-based care coordination tools. You'll have opportunities to mentor junior engineers, influence key architectural decisions, and proactively identify areas for performance and process improvements, solidifying your impact on Arcadia's technological direction and team growth.
