• • As a Full-Stack Engineer at HappyRobot, you will be entrusted with significant ownership and end-to-end responsibility for key product areas and infrastructure. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are not only comfortable navigating ambiguity but also possess a deep commitment to the craft of software engineering and a desire for genuine product ownership. You will be instrumental in building and enhancing our core platform, contributing to its scalability, reliability, and performance.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, and deployment of features across the entire stack. This includes developing intuitive and performant front-end experiences using TypeScript and Next.js, ensuring clean architecture and exceptional UX. On the back-end, you will leverage Go to build robust, scalable, and reliable systems that power our AI capabilities. A crucial aspect of this role involves collaborating closely with our founders and a talented team of engineers to define and refine product direction, making critical trade-offs between development speed, product quality, and system scalability.
• • You will have the opportunity to build and own entire sections of our product, significantly contributing to the web application's evolution. This involves taking features from conception through to production, including the user interface, APIs, and underlying infrastructure. A key focus area will be the optimization and scaling of our voice AI infrastructure, with a direct impact on improving latency, enhancing reliability, and managing costs effectively.
